Error Messages

The following is a list of error messages you may receive which are concerned primarily with network conditions and activities. Most are self explanatory, however, we have added some notes to those which may be ambiguous. Please note that these messages are supplied by the operating system, and in some cases an adequate explanation is not given or available.

 

1.Your call could not be connected. The remote user has rejected the call.
 
2.The call was picked up from elsewhere.
 
3.Your call could not be connected. The call was forwarded by the switch.
 
4.Your call could not be connected. Line is busy or client declined your SecureGSM call.
 
5.Your call could not be connected. The remote user's station does not answer, switched off or out of coverage area.
 
6.The destination address is invalid.
This error would generally mean that the number dialed does not exist or is incorrect.
 
7.Your call could not be connected for one of the following reasons:
CSD (DATACALL) service is not enabled on your mobile phone number or on the number you have dialed, SecureGSM is not running on the remote device or remote device could not be reached.
 
8.Your call could not be connected. The network is congested.
 
9.Your Call could not be connected. The remote user's station equipment is incompatible with the type of call requested. Permanent Error. Contact your service provider for details.
This error would generally mean that the dialed party is in an area where the network cannot support CSD(DATACALL) functionality.
 
10.The reason for the disconnect is unavailable and will not become known later.
 
11.Your call could not be connected. A dial tone was not detected.
 
12.Your call could not be connected because the destination number has been changed, but automatic redirection to the new number is not provided.
 
13.Your call could not be connected or was disconnected because the destination device is out of order.
 
14.Your call could not be connected or was disconnected because of a temporary failure in the network; please try again later.
 
15.Your call could not be connected or was disconnected because the minimum quality of service could not be obtained or sustained. Try again later.
 
16.The call could not be connected because calls from the origination address are not being accepted at the destination address. "Black listed"
 
17.Your call could not be connected because the destination has invoked the Do Not Disturb feature.
 
18.The call was cancelled.
 
19.Your call could not be connected. Software compatibility error.
 
20.Invalid line ID
This error is associated with the phone functionality of your device and will come up on application start up when there is no phone functionality on the device (ie. the device is not a "phone enabled device").
 
21.Error in
